James joined AspinallVerdi in October 2017 as the first apprentice in the Leeds office. He joined after completing A-levels in ICT, English Language and History. As part of his apprenticeship he is currently studying towards a certificate of higher education which would allow for express entry onto a BSc in Real Estate Management. This would eventually lead to the opportunity for James to undertake his APC and become an RICS Accredited Chartered Surveyor.
Since joining AspinallVerdi, James has been involved in undertaking property market research for a wide range of projects, across both the residential and commercial sectors including: Central Bedfordshire - Plan Viability Study; Beech Hill, Halifax - Options Study; Cow Green, Halifax – Development Brief; and Kidderminster Land Value Capture.

Granary Wharf, Leeds – The regeneration of Granary Wharf has given the area a new lease of life; through utilising the vacant railway arches of the Leeds train station and carpark beside the canal it has allowed for the construction of multiple bars, restaurants and apartment blocks alongside the canal creating a truly iconic addition to the Leeds cityscape.
