Matthew has a background in planning, having graduated from the City Planning and Regeneration MSc course at the University of Glasgow. This is an RTPI accredited course which covers Development Economics, Spatial Planning Strategies, Development Process and Regenerating Cities.
Matthew joined AspinallVerdi in March 2016. Before this he was a graduate planner at Peter Brett Associates. He has worked with both private and public sector clients and has experience of working on a number of Economic Viability Appraisals. He has been involved in the research, analysis and report writing for a range of employment studies, as well as presenting findings to clients. Matthew is skilled in market analysis and development appraisals.
Favourite Regeneration Project
Port Vell, Barcelona - This event-led waterfront regeneration was delivered on the back of the 1992 Olympics. It has provided interesting and unique spaces and has shown that such an event can be used to attract private-sector investment.
