Growing firm appointed for first time as lead consultant
Independently-owned property regeneration consultancy AspinallVerdi has secured a prestigious appointment to the Homes England Property and Financial Professional Services Framework.
This is the first time that AspinallVerdi has been appointed to the Framework as a lead consultant, working with a wide range of expert sub-contractors, having previously been appointed as part of a joint venture in 2018.
The Leeds-based consultancy - founded in 2009 by chairman Atam Verdi and managing director Ben Aspinall and now with a network of offices in Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and London - is also one of a small number of independent operators on the Framework.
The appointment allows the Leeds-based firm to continue providing its wide range of technical and design services to councils and other public bodies to help with the delivery of new homes, while helping public bodies to dispose of their land more quickly.
The Framework is used to commission property-related services including development consultancy, agency (site disposal and acquisition), estate management, valuation, viability appraisal, financial services and project management.
Ben Aspinall said: “Our appointment as a lead consultant to the Homes England Property and Financial Professional Services Framework for the first time is a tremendous achievement and testimony to the increasing breadth and depth of talent at the firm as we continue to expand.
“We value the opportunity to strengthen our valued relationship with Homes England and local authorities nationwide, allowing us to continue providing our best-in-class advice and guidance on all aspects of housing delivery, including the masterplanning and disposal of development sites and viability of planning applications.”
The independent consultancy with a national profile in regeneration recently relocated to a new head office in Leeds, leaving Matthew Murray House in Water Lane for Studio 7 at 46 The Calls, a redeveloped former grain warehouse providing 35,000 sq ft of waterfront design studios and office space in the fast evolving Calls area of the city.
In the past 12 months, AspinallVerdi has also opened regional offices in Birmingham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne and made a series of senior appointments, along with recently being shortlisted for Outstanding Small Practice in the RICs national awards.
