Matthew joined AspinallVerdi in January 2019 as a Consultant in the London office after graduating from University College London with a Master’s degree in International Real Estate & Planning. The course was accredited by RICS, covering various aspects of real estate development, appraisal, international planning practices and viability. Matthew is now working towards his APC on the Planning & Development pathway.
Matthew has contributed his professional background in architecture and residential agency towards property market research for AspinallVerdi, advising public and private sector clients on viability matters (EVAs), planning-policy analysis, business needs assessments and masterplanning. Matthew was also recently involved in the assessment of the garden community bids submitted to Homes England.

Northumberland Development Project, Tottenham – Matthew’s thesis focused on the variables associated with successful stadium-led regeneration, using the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium as the case study. The redevelopment of private sporting infrastructure and associated regeneration has led to numerous public benefits in the wider area.
